Open House with Guest Speaker Julie Broady

At the Toastmasters 90210 Open House, we had the pleasure of hosting Guest Speaker, Julie Broady, 2xDTM, 2xPDD, who masterfully delivered a speech which drew in the audience and kept us listening.

In her speech, Julie called on us to think about what motivates us in our lives and to build upon our own intelligent voice through action - noting that sometimes it is us who place limitations on ourselves by creating artificial barriers.

Julie pointed out that finding your voice is a part of what it means to grow on your personal journey with Toastmasters and encouraged us to take a leap by embracing the process and taking action.

In her speech, she asked us to reflect on: ‘What is my voice and why does it count?’
