What Is This Event About?

Connecting with people and establishing rapport is an under-appreciated art: It's a skill that can be taught and one that touches every area of your life, whether it be your career, creating friendships or finding and keeping a life partner. John Kerwin's keynote speech will delve into techniques he has developed while interviewing celebrities that will apply to any situation where you interact with another human being.

During this presentation, you will:

1. Learn how to quickly gain rapport when meeting people

2. Understand the importance of making those around you comfortable

3. See the value in taking risks to create powerful connections

Who Is John Kerwin?

John Kerwin is a multi-award-winning television host and celebrity interviewer. His shows have included The John Kerwin Show, The Yesterday Show with John Kerwin and The John Kerwin Kids’ Show. He’s also interviewed celebrities on-location and on the red carpet.

Originally from New York City, John is also a journalist who has had regular columns in Stand Up Comedy Magazine, Tae Kwon Do Times Magazine (he is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do), Martial Arts Guardian and Tae Kwon Do Life Magazine. His columns include written features, profiles and Q & A’s showcasing a wide variety of celebrities.

As a longtime Toastmaster, John has served as past President of two clubs. He was also a guest on The Official Toastmaster International Podcast.
